Brief Synopsis
Feeling trapped, Paloma is introduced to bachata by Ms. Schmidt, a dance instructor at her community college. When she fails the audition to join Danielle’s bachata team, she decides to form her own team, with Jose, Maria, Juan, Naomi, and Chen. Although Danielle strives to make Paloma miserable, Paloma finds freedom in learning bachata and solace in joining Denver’s community of bachata dancers.
